Mr. Adrian Daniel, who is an attorney by profession, and the son of Nevis’ first Premier the late Dr. Simeon Daniel delivered the feature address. Daniel told the graduating class that Bill Gates once said, “I failed in some subjects in exams, but my friend passed in all, now he is an engineer at Microsoft and I own Microsoft”. He told the graduates that education is the foundation on which their future will be built. Mr. Daniel advised the graduates not to let anyone or any circumstances dissuade them from pursuing higher education, since it is vital in their lives.

He reminded the graduating class that a sound education however, did not guarantee a life without challenges. However, they should see these challenges as a stepping stone rather than an obstacle. The Keynote Speaker encouraged the graduating class to become leaders, to be persistent and to be resilient no matter what predicament comes their way. He also encouraged the students to be different, act with honor, dignity and respect so that others may be inspired by their examples.

In conclusion, he told the graduating class of 2014 to never give up. He further stated, “There are so many ways to achieve your goals.
