Deseree DES Parry of the Fit Wellness Center Gymnasium revealed on Wednesday that a team of Body builders from St.Kitts and Nevis is currently in serious training, as they prepare for a major tournament in St.Maarten, set for the weekend of October 2nd to 4th.
The competition is the CAC games for Central American and Caribbean countries and will see participation from over 27 countries with at least 300 athletes taking center stage.
It’s a Body Building and Fitness games and the athletes will compete in various categories including: Body Building; Body Fitness; Bikini and men physique.
According to Ms Parry, the trip for the athletes is taken care of in terms of cost but a special boat run is being organized and a few charter flights for persons interested in seeing the athletes in action and also making it a shopping expedition as well.
