Charlestown, Nevis – It is with great sorrow that we report the sudden passing of Berley Walwyn, a well-known maintenance man. According to reports, he tragically lost his life due to electrocution while working on an electrical job on Sunday, December 22nd.
Hon. Eric Evelyn shared his condolences in a Facebook post, stating, “It is a sad day for us in Gingerland and, by extension, the island of Nevis, as we come to terms with the untimely passing of Berley Walwyn. This news is particularly difficult for me because Berley nominated me on multiple occasions during both my local and federal elections. He also served as the chair of the St. George CCM Constituency Group. My heart goes out to his wife, children, mother, and siblings. Rest in peace, brother.”
