The police are investigating a fatal road incident that occurred on November 13, 2024, in Keys Village, St. Kitts, which resulted in the death of Joyeclyn Straun, a resident of Keys Village.
Preliminary inquiries reveal that Ms Straun was struck by a vehicle while crossing the road, with the vehicle coming from the direction of Basseterre.
She was promptly transported to the Joseph N. France General Hospital via ambulance but unfortunately succumbed to her injuries shortly after arrival.
An investigation into the incident is currently underway, and the public will be kept informed of any developments.
