The over-the-top track club on Nevis held its worship service at the Gingerland Seventh-day Adventist Church on Saturday, October 26th.
Nearly 53 athletes, along with some parents, attended the service.
Kurvin Wallace, the manager, owner, and head coach of the club, highlighted the presence of a full-fledged executive committee that oversees the club’s general affairs. He also mentioned that he has two assistant coaches, Adelvin Phillip and Jefferey Lewis.
Wallace emphasised that the club is not solely focused on the athletes’ athletic abilities; it is also dedicated to their overall development, including academics and spiritual well-being.
The club aims to guide the athletes toward becoming responsible citizens who can make positive contributions to society. The dynamic sermon that day was delivered by Pastor Chalvar Henry.
