Law Enforcement Operations Yield Recovery of Narcotics & Ammunition

On June 4th, 2024, the officers of the Anti-Narcotics Unit (ANU) of the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force (RSCNPF) executed a search of an abandoned building in Dorset Village, St. Kitts. The search led to the discovery of a plastic bag containing what was suspected to be seven (7) grams of cocaine. The suspected narcotics were subsequently taken into police custody. As of now, no one has been found responsible for the suspected contraband.

In a separate incident on June 8th, 2024, between 9 AM and 10 AM, three (3) rounds of ammunition were found in the Conaree area by patrolling St. Kitts – Nevis Defence Force (SKNDF) soldiers. The ammunition was discovered inside a container that was found in the brush near the basketball court. The scene was processed by the Crime Scene Unit and the contraband was taken into custody. Investigations into both incidents are ongoing, and the public will be kept informed of any developments.
