The West Indies was sent into bat by Australia in the first test match which commenced earlier today.
Their batting faltered badly to the bowling of the Aussie quicks.
However Kirk Mc Kenzie scored a gutsy half-century and then debutant Shamar Joseph and Kemar Roach, teamed up in an enterprising partnership of 55 runs to take the visitors to 188 all out.
The last wicket pair certainly frustrated the home team, with Joseph getting 36 and Roach on 17
Cummins had 4 for 36 and Hazelwood 4 for 44.
