The 14th annual Luther Kelly over 35 tournament, was held in St. Maarten from Friday 24th to Sunday 26th November.
The four participating teams were: defending champions Nevis; St. Kits; Anguilla and St. Maarten.
Preliminary matches were played on Friday and Saturday and based on the results from those games, the final day, Sunday, saw St. Kitts defeating Anguilla in a match-up for third place and then in the grand finals, Nevis engaged host St. Maarten.
Nevis won the toss and batted first and struggled throughout their innings, due to some accurate bowling from the home team.
Nevis eventually got to 107 for 7 in their allotted 20 overs.
St. Maarten in response lost an early wicket, but a significant partnership between Doodnuth and Lamboride, virtually secured the game for them.
St. Maarten therefore taking the Championship Trophy for 2023.
