With neither team in with a chance to make the semifinals of the ongoing Primary Schools Football tournament, when the Ivor Walters Primary faced off with the Maude Cross Preparatory school on Wednesday 8th November, the two teams were playing for bragging rights.
The Ivor Walters team was the better team on the day, despite the best efforts of the Maude Cross players.
However, the Maude Cross team played with determination and at half-time, the score was nil-all
In the second half, IWPS hit the back of the net twice, without a response from the Maude Cross Prep.
Final score: 2 goals to nil, in favour of IWPS.
