Basseterre: St. Kitts: Mr. Andrew Abraham was sworn in as the 5th president at the Clarence Fitzroy Bryant College (CFBC), assuming leadership of the Federation’s elite tertiary education institution on Thursday, October 13, 2023. Signifying the transference to and subsequent acceptance of the roles, duties and responsibilities of the president, the institution’s academic symbols were bequeathed to Mr. Abraham.

“The inauguration of a President is a very memorable and historic occasion, one that not only signifies the changing of the guard but also brings with it a surge of renewed energy, invigoration and hope. It gives me great pleasure to extend congratulations on behalf of the Ministry of Education and the Government of St. Kitts and Nevis, to Mr. Andrew Abraham on being appointed as the 5th President of the Clarence Fitzroy Bryant College. This indeed is a significant milestone that will be recorded in the history pages of this great institution. The Clarence Fitzroy Bryant College has a rich legacy that spans 35 years. Deputy Prime Minister Hanley pledged the Ministry of Education’s continued support to the new president, staff and students of CFBC.
In the spirit of academic excellence, support and approval; commendations were also given by Dr. Tamu Browne, Chair of the CFBC Board of Directors and Faculty Representative, Mr. Ellsworth Diamond, who gave their word of honour in support to the new President, Mr. Andrew Abraham.
President Abraham conveyed his appreciation for the support and faith entrusted in him to govern the prestigious CFBC and vowed to remain committed to the success of the institution and the students it serves.

I reaffirm my pledge to work collaboratively and with an invigorating spirit of enthusiasm and courage. Mr. Andrew Abraham is an astute academic who has dedicated 17 years of his career to the institution. Of the 17 years, Mr Abraham served as Dean of the Division of Technical Vocational Education and Management Studies (TVEMS) for 11 years before his advancement to President.
