Basseterre, St. Kitts (SKNIS): Effective July 24, 2023, Caribbean Airlines will operate a total of five times on a weekly basis, providing convenient and reliable travel options between Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago; Barbados; Antigua and Barbuda and St. Kitts and Nevis.
This was announced by Caribbean Airlines Chief Operations Officer, Nirmala Ramai during a brief but significant ceremony at Kayan Jet Lounge on Monday, July 24, to welcome the airline’s inaugural flight from Port of Spain, Trinidad via Antigua.
“With the launch of this service, Caribbean Airlines will introduce a capacity of at least 680 seats in and out of St. Kitts and Nevis on a weekly basis operating five times a week on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays,” said Chief Operations Office Ramai. “We firmly believe by working together, that this additional capacity will stimulate increased trade and facilitate the movement of more people to and from St. Kitts and Nevis, further bolstering the island’s already robust tourism industry.”
Caribbean Airlines Chief Operations Officer thanked all stakeholders who played an integral role in ensuring that this additional service to St. Kitts and Nevis came to fruition.
“Caribbean Airlines is motivated to continue to work closely with all stakeholders to welcome home more people into St. Kitts and Nevis, allowing them to experience your vibrant culture and all the opportunities you offer for both business and leisure,” she said. “We eagerly anticipate collaborating with the stakeholders of St. Kitts and Nevis as we forge ahead on this journey.”
She noted that the new service into St. Kitts and Nevis “aligns perfectly” with Caribbean Airlines’ “mission to enhance regional connectivity – which is integral” to the Airlines’ “2023 Corporate Campaign: ‘Welcome Home’ with network expansion at its core.”
