Bianca Williams was the ultimate star as she led out in the senior girls’ cross-country event of the Gingerland Secondary.
The event was held on Thursday 17th November.
Even though obviously exhausted, she led her competitors by quite a distance to secure first place.
Meanwhile, it was a battle and a half between Carlon Smithen and Tequan Hollinsworth in the senior boys’ category.
The duo stayed together for most of the course. However, in the vicinity of the Old Manor Hotel they both pushed out hard, but Tequan ran out of gas and Carlon stormed home in first place
