World Championships 200 metres winner Shericka Jackson secured victory over five-time World 100 metres champion Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce in the women’s 100 metres at the Diamond League meet today in Brussels.
Jackson clocked 10.73 seconds for the win, while Fraser-Pryce clocked 10.74 for second place with Marie Ta Lou of the Ivory Coast third in 10.78.
Fraser Pryce made her return to the track after a hamstring issue caused her to withdraw from the Diamond League meet in Lausanne last Friday.
Both Jackson and Fraser-Pryce have already secured their places in next week’s Diamond League final in Zurich.
