The Bath United Football club concluded its annual Football camp at the Bath village playing field on the morning of Thursday 18th August.
Long-serving Coach of the Club and chief coordinator of the program, Alex Claxton, chaired the proceedings.
He noted that there were 31 children present on the first day of the camp and that number soon went up to 51, in the ensuing days and kept climbing, as more and more parents sought to get their children enrolled.
He informed the gathering that sometime next week, the club will host a Football festival, after which the annual offering of school supplies to the players, will be made. This gesture is complements of Frankie and the MV Apple Syder.
Executive member of the Bath United Football Club, Raymond RAYBO Smith, in his remarks, congratulated Alex Claxton for his tremendous sacrifice and contribution to the development of the club and its players and also thanked the many sponsors who contributed to the success of the camp.
All of the participants were then presented with certificates and then treated to snacks.
