Body Building Competitors Thrill Audience At NEPAC
The 3rd annual F.I.T. Physique championship was held at NEPAC on the evening of Saturday 30th April.
A sizeable and vociferous crowd was on hand to witness the event, which featured a total of eight athletes from St. Kitts.
Two competed in the Men’s Classic Physique; three in the men’s Physique and three in the women’s Bikini Fitness competition.
The event commenced with welcome remarks by the chief coordinator of the event, Mr. David Walwyn and a minute’s silence was observed in honour of the late Desmond BULL Liburd and the Hon. Vance Winkworth Amory.
The national anthem of St. Kitts and Nevis was beautifully rendered by Miss Venelle Powell and from there on, the show was expertly directed by the Master of ceremonies, Hon. Eric Evelyn.
There was also a Yoga session by Rhonda Maycock and Pam Barry and James Weekes challenged the audience to some exercise routines.
Chief Judge out of Antigua, Mr. Errol Williams had high commendations for the athletes, in delivering his critique of the competition.
