Trident Chambers (Nevis) Limited is looking for a qualified legal practitioner to handle requests for legal services for our affiliated trust and corporate service providers.

  • Sound knowledge of the St Kitts & Nevis legal and regulatory framework.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to problem-solve and solutions-focused.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills and an ability to multi-task and work to tight deadlines.
  • Good interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to prioritise critical issues and provide clear and concise briefs
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products.

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of contracts, legal opinions and memoranda
  • Provision of legal services to clients of affiliated trust and corporate service providers
  • Provision of legal advice in the areas of company, trust, succession and contract law
  • Providing summaries and guidance notes on technical matters, including the review of new or amended legislation

 Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Laws & Legal Education Certificate (or equivalent)
  • Qualified lawyer with at least 7 years post qualification experience.
  • Admission to the St Kitts & Nevis Bar
  • Experience in corporate and civil law
  • Qualification as a Notary Public in St Kitts & Nevis would be an asset
