It was game two of the exhibition matches hosted by the Nevis Sports Department, in the commissioning of the Mondo track’s Football facility.
The match-up was between home team Bath United and the Cayon team out of St.Kitts, on Sunday 12th December.
In front of a fair-sized crowd, Cayon playing aggressively scored the first goal.
Bath United responded shortly thereafter, by hitting the back of the net, but the supporters’ joy was turned to dismay, as it was ruled an off-side goal.
However, moments later, the same player struck the back of the net yet again and this time it was allowed.
Close to halftime, Cayon made it 2 goals to 1, hitting the back of the net yet again.
The second half saw more intensity in terms of aggressive play by the players on both teams and FIFA referee Kimbel Ward had his hands full, as he issued a number of yellow cards.
Amidst all the flurry, Cayon scored once more, to end the game with a scoreline of 3 goals to 1.
