Football Youth Referees Course Concludes with Certification Ceremony

The youth referees course organized by St.Kitts and Nevis Referees’ Association, officially closed on Monday night, at Football House in St. Kitts.

General Secretary of the SKNFA, Techell McLean, congratulated the participants for successfully completing the course and noted that having completed the course, the young men and women who graduated, now have the opportunity to referee matches in the local leagues, but on a much larger scale, can be called by FIFA or CONCACAF to officiate in matches in the international arena.

All of the participants received certificates and some received referees’ uniforms, as they are expected to soon officiate in local junior matches.

Most attentive-Shevon Walwyn
Best behaved-Mackhela Dillon Surju

Most outstanding participant-two way tie between Jaden Rouse and Gidel Williams

The participants for their part, surprised Convener of the course, Malcolm Ramsey, with a gift for sacrificing his time to train the young referees

Ramsey in turn presented the gift to General Secretary McLean for her support of the course.

The referee instructors also received certificates.
