Basseterre, St.Kitts-The Calypso eliminations for Sugar Mas’ 50, will proceed, despite the ongoing controversy.
Several calypsonians were automatically eliminated, due to the fact that they are not currently vaccinated against the coronavirus.
This has sparked much debate across St.Kitts and Nevis
However, the carnival committee has indicated that the calypso eliminations will proceed this weekend.
Some twenty-one calypsonians are expected to take part over two evenings of kaiso.
The order of appearance for the two nights is as follows:
