President of the Nevis Masters’ Cricket Association, Franklyn KUT Daniel, confirmed on Monday that an over 35’s cricket tournament, will be held in Nevis, on the 4th and 5th of December.
The matches will be played at the VOJN grounds and will feature the same four teams that participated in the recent Luther Kelly over 35’s tournament: The St. Kitts Ex Nationals (new champions); Nevis A team; St. Kitts Travelers and Nevis B team.
This time around, the tournament will be held in honour of former Commissioner of Police and long-serving St. Kitts Masters’ player, Austin Williams.
According to Daniel, there will be no entry fee to the game.
He is asking the spectators to observe all covid 19 protocols and to be on their best behaviour.
There will also be food, drinks and music available on both days.
The Nevis teams have already recommenced practice sessions and Daniel is adamant that one of the Nevis teams will take championship honours this time around.
