Charlestown-Nevis- A family source has confirmed that the homegoing service for the late Mr. Arthur Evelyn, will be held at the ET Willet Park, on Monday 23rd August.
The service is set to commence at 2 pm.
Mr. Evelyn who passed away last weekend lived an exemplary life of service to his beloved Nevisian community.
He was a pioneer in establishing his Pharmacy in Charlestown and served as the first Minister of Agriculture, Lands, Housing, Labour, and Tourism, of the Nevis Island Assembly.
His contributions further extend to the following:
The Nevis Turf and Jockey Club, the Mental Health Association, Culturama committee, The Lions Club, The Blind Light, and Visually Impaired Society, the St. Paul’s Anglican Church Vestry and as a founding member of the Nevis Historical and Conservation Society and the Nevis Cooperative Credit Union.
