CHARLESTOWN, NEVIS, JULY 10TH, 2020 (Nevispages.com): Today, Friday, July 10, 2020, St. Kitts and Nevis recorded one additional case of COVID-19.
The announcement was made by the Federal Minister of Health, Hon. Akilah Byron Nisbett.
The patient is a frontline healthcare worker who would have provided care for the previously announced case.
The patient will now be subjected to mandatory isolation in order to limit the transmission of the disease to others. All other contacts of the patient will be subject to strict quarantine and testing.
This case brings the total number of cases in the Federation to 17, with 13 cases on St. Kitts and 4 cases on Nevis.
Fifteen (15) of the previously announced cases have fully recovered.
