New case of COVID-19 reported in St. Kitts and Nevis

CHARLESTOWN, NEVIS, JULY 4TH, 2020 (Nevispages.com):  A new confirmed case of COVID-19, was today, July 4, 2020, reported in St. Kitts and Nevis.

The announcement was made by the  Federal Minister of Health, Hon. Akilah Byron Nisbett.

The patient is a returning national, who landed on June 19, 2020, from Washington DC, USA.

The patient has been in quarantine since arrival, and will now be subjected to compulsory isolation in order to limit the transmission of the disease to others.

This case brings the total number of cases in the Federation to 16, with 12 cases on St. Kitts and 4 cases on Nevis.

The previous 15 cases have all fully recovered.
