Today the Ministry and Department of Agriculture held a press briefing at the Charlestown water front.
Several plans and activities for Agriculture Open Day 25 were discussed. Key highlights are: (1) Change of venue from CSS school ground to ETW park in order to accommodate more vendors and people. (2) Gate cost of $5 before 5pm and $10 after 5pm, however, children in uniform will enter free of cost. (3) The Department of Agriculture Open Day is set for March 28-29, 2019.
There were also cooking demonstrations that featured Nevisian Chef Michael Henville, who prepared all local fish and pork dishes. Ingredients were all healthy, colorful and farm fresh.
Several government workers and students participated in the activity.
