The playoffs in the SL Horsfords sponsored Nevis Amateur Basketball Association Basketball league continued at the Craddock Road court on Thursday night-10th May.
Defending champions CG Rebels engaged the vastly improved Dynasty Ballers and it was an intriguing contest from start to finish.
On this night, a sizeable and vociferous crowd was on hand.
At one point, towards the end of the third quarter, CG Rebels led with a scoreline of 43 to 42, in their favour. However, a two pointer from the Dynasty team, gave them a lead by one point—44 to 43.
The lead exchanged hands right throughout the final quarter with the tension and anxiety building on the court.
In the final minutes of the game, a few brave three pointers by the Dynasty team, made a marked difference to the final outcome and as the seconds ticked away, the Dynasty team deliberately passed the ball around, until the final whistle went.
Final score: Dynasty Ballers 69 CG Rebels 62
The playoffs continue on Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th May at the Craddock Road court.
