REPORT OF ARRESTS, CONVICTIONS AND OTHER ACTIVITIES
Basseterre, St. Kitts, February 12, 2018 (RSCNPF): Below is a report of arrests, convictions and other activities recorded by the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force for the period February 09–12, 2018.
ARRESTS AND BAIL:
Arrested: Nicha Byron of Keys Village was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offence of Possession of a Firearm with Intent to Commit a Felony.
Arrested: Conrod Clarke of Basseterre was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offence of Larceny.
Arrested: Alejandra Montanez, a Mexican who resides at Bird Rock, was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offence of Driving a Motor Car when not Covered with Insurance and Driving Without a Valid and Unexpired Driver’s License.
Arrested/Bailed: Clive Martin of Greenlands was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offences of Driving an Unlicensed Vehicle, Driving Without Insurance and Driving Without a Valid and Unexpired License. He was granted bail in the sum of $5,000 for his appearance at the Basseterre Magistrate Court on March 01, 2018.
Arrested/Bailed: Gail Breakaway of St. Christopher Club, Frigate Bay/Canada was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offence of Driving a Motor Car Without Insurance. She was granted bail in the sum of $5,000 for her appearance at the Basseterre Magistrate Court on March 01, 2018.
Arrested/Bailed: Morris Murray of Stone Fort Heights was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offences of Possession of Cannabis and Possession of Cannabis with Intent to Supply. He was granted bail in the sum of $1,000 for his appearance at the Dieppe Bay Magistrate Court on March 05, 2018.
Arrested/Bailed: Damien Kelly of Stone Fort Heights, Challengers was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offences of Possession of Cannabis and Possession of Cannabis with Intent to Supply. He was granted bail in the sum of $10,000 for his appearance at the Dieppe Bay Magistrate Court on March 05, 2018.
Arrested/Bailed: Mark Haschemy of Royal St. Kitts Hotel, Frigate Bay was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for Driving a Motor Vehicle Without Insurance. He was granted bail in the sum of $5,000 for his appearance at the Basseterre Magistrate Court on March 01, 2018.
Arrested/Bailed: Sylvester Julius of Carty’s Pasture, Tabernacle was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for Driving a Motor Jeep Without Insurance. He was granted bail in the sum of $5,000 for his appearance at the Basseterre Magistrate Court on March 01, 2018.
Arrested/Bailed: Richard Greenaway of Shadwell Housing Site was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for Permitting a Juvenile to use a Vehicle Without there being Enforced in Relation to the user of the said Vehicle a Policy of Insurance. He was granted bail in the sum of $5,000 for his appearance at the Basseterre Magistrate Court on March 03, 2018.
Arrested/Bailed: Calvert Liburd of Fig Tree, Sandy Point was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offences of Keeping in use a Motor Scooter Without Obtaining the Relevant License and Fraudulently using the Identification Mark. He was granted bail in the sum of $7,000 for his appearance at the Dieppe Bay Magistrate Court on March 05, 2018.
Bailed: Marissa Huggins of Gardens Housing Project, who was charged for the offence of Simple Wounding, was granted bail in the sum of $10,000 for her appearance at the Basseterre Magistrate Court on March 05, 2018.
Bailed: Lestroy Lewis of Keys Extension, who was arrested for Driving Without a Valid and Unexpired Driver’s License and not being Covered with Insurance, was granted bail in the sum of $5,000 for his appearance at the Basseterre Magistrate Court on March 05, 2018.
OTHER ACTIVITIES:
Search Warrant Executed: Police executed several search warrants during the period of this report. Warrants were executed on properties in the following areas: Conaree, Spooners Village, Salt Pond Alley, Downing Street and The Alley (both areas are in Sandy Point).
House Breaking and Larceny: Police responded to several reports of House Breaking and Larceny which occurred in the following areas: Church Street, New Street, Newton Ground, Cardin Avenue, New Road Housing and Romney Ground (Sandy Point).
Abandoned Properties Searched: Police continued to execute searches on properties. Most recently they were done in areas of St. Johnson, Fort Thomas Road and Upper Shaw Avenue.
