Bath Village, Nevis (February 4th 2018) – According to Mervin Hanley, “area Representative for St John, Honorable Mark Brantley made a personal donation to the fishermen of Bath Village by handing over 16 rolls of fish pot wires. A promise he made just before the Christmas season and a promise kept and delivered today. The fishermen all expressed their gratitude and appreciation and promised big hauls for the community. Permanent Secretary for Fisheries, Huey Sargeant, also thanked Area Representative Brantley and offered words of encouragement and continued support to the fishermen.”
The Premier also made a brief comment and said, “once the fishermen have the tools they will deliver. Bath Villagers are hard working and industrious.”
