Nevis has gotten the nod to host the Leeward Islands Masters’ Cricket tournament for 2018.
This pronouncement was made from the desk of the President of the Leeward Islands masters Cricket Association (LIMCA), Mr. Alkins Rogers, late last week. The actual release states:
‘This is to advise that at an executive meeting of the Leeward Islands Masters Cricket Association held in St.Kitts. The executive agreed that the next Country to host the 2018 Leeward Islands Masters Cricket Tournament will be NEVIS.
We will be in contact to provide additional information. We will also communicate some changes to improve the standard of the tournament.’
It is understood that the BVI had also put in a bid to host the tournament, after the next listed host country in Antigua and Barbuda, declined.
