SHARJAH, United Arab Emirates  West Indies opening batsman Kraigg Brathwaite was not out at the end of the second day of the third Test match against Pakistan at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium.

The 23-year-old closed the day on 95, as he guided West Indies to 244-6, in reply to Pakistan’s first innings of 281. He batted five hours and faced 206 balls with 10 boundaries.

Brathwaite shared in to vital partnerships— 83 for the sixth wicket with Roston Chase, who made 50 and another 83 for the seventh wicket with wicket-keeper Shane Dowrich, who made 47.
