Charlestown, Nevis, August 27, 2019 (Nevispages.com): Former President of the St. Kitts-based Clarence Fitzroy Bryant College (CFBC), Dr Kelvin Daly, is the new Nevis Reformation Party candidate for Nevis 9 in the upcoming federal elections.
Dr. Daley made the announcement as a guest on Freedom FM’s issues program earlier today, August 27, 2019.
Dr. Daley was elected to the position of 1st Vice President of the Nevis Reformation Party at the party’s convention in October of last year.
Prior to entering politics, Dr Daly held leadership positions in education and agriculture on Nevis before going on to become the President of CFBC. He served the Nevis Island Administration as Director of Agriculture and Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Agriculture. He is also a former Deputy Principal at the Charlestown Secondary School.
Dr. Daly also brings strong academic credentials having received his PhD and Masters of Science degrees from West Virginia University and a Bachelors of Science from the State University of New York at Stony Brook.
The constituency of Nevis 9 is currently held by the Federal Minister of Foreign Affairs and Premier of Nevis the Hon. Mark Brantley.
